New Foreclosures Decrease in First Quarter of 2014

While Manchester, CT home prices remain low for a fifth consecutive year, foreclosures dropped over 42% in a year-over-year comparison with the first quarter of 2013. Foreclosure deeds increased slightly as more homes were lost to strict foreclosure than the same 90 day period in 2013.

New Foreclosure Rates Improve in the Beginning of 2014

Newly started foreclosure rates in Windsor, CT decreased to lower rates from last year's record levels in the first quarter of 2014. Sales rates also increased modestly from last year's record low real estate sales rates with average sales prices remaining steady but still down from prices in the beginning of 2010.
